Kenneth Guthrie, his oldest son Michael, and grandson, Tyler have a family of creative genes that are as unique as their art. Through their family bond and creative curiosity, the three Guthrie's have created 3G Art . They are dedicated in using pieces of each others art and combining them in a way that is unique and clever. Michael may take a picture and Kenneth will paint an aspect of the piece and Tyler will manipulate it digitally, and viola- It's a multigenerational piece of art created from each of them.
The Guthries have been inspired by the ocean and the scenery around them. Coastal landscapes and wildlife seem to be where they are at their most creative. Their love for the water is apparent in many of their pieces. From their medium to their muse, the Gulf of Mexico has been there inspiration because it's in their blood.
From water color, oils. epoxy, driftwood, and acrylic pouring , the boys like to explore and try new things. The 3G's focus on the details and the creative nature of the subject to make each piece unique.
